Courtyard Garden Design specialises in the creation of small and town gardens, courtyards, rooftops and urban spaces; each design is exclusive to reflect clients' individual requirements.

Having qualified from the Inchbald School of Garden Design in London, Sally set up her design practice, Courtyard Garden Design, in 1988. The practice has extensive design experience having installed a wide variety of projects: domestic and commercial, intimate backyards through to large-scale projects both in the UK and overseas. With a growing reputation not only for design but also for lecturing, writing articles and books, she is now considered one of the UK's leading landscape designers, Sally has received many awards for both show gardens and landscape projects in the UK, USA and Russia.

In 2008, she co-founded cgd landscape design ltd with Helen Billetop FSGD, which provides a comprehensive creative process catering for sizeable landscape projects.

Sally is a Fellow of the Society of Garden Designers (UK), Certified Member of the Association of Landscape Designers (USA), Designer Member of the British Association of Landscape Industries and Member of the Garden Media Guild.
