Sally and her team have worked on numerous country gardens and estates ranging from 2 to 45 acres. It is important to capture each garden's unique qualities within the design. A landscape survey is carried out to analyse the site specific problems and highlights. Reflecting the owners' lifestyles and needs, the concept for these projects evolves only after detailed analysis and discussion. These gardens are usually installed in phases to allow for breathing spaces for the new construction, for planting to settle and budgets to be kept. As planning and building consents may have to be applied for, such projects can take several years to complete.
